The fashion of the 40′s has remain popular till our days. As a fact, plenty of women in various parts of the world are fascinated with the fashion of the decade. Actually, such popularity of the 40s fashion is probably caused by it’s unique style, which combines both glamour and elegance.
In fact, the fashion became more free at the decade. As a fact, women started wearing shorter skirts. The lenght of the classical 40′s skirt was quite long comparing with today’s standarts, but it was a real novelty at that period. It is also impossible to forget about women’s shorts, which were firstly introduced in the 40′s. In fact, the clothe created a really glamorous and femine look, which was also sexy at the same time. The 50′s are well-known for it’s feminine fashion. It is not a secret that the clothes of the decade were really stylish. Actually, there are several main trends of the 50′s women fashion. As a fact, it would be truly difficult to find a female wearing pants at that period. What is more, retro women’s style is almost unimaginable without all the gorgeous dresses and skirts. The main aim of the clothing was to create a women’s silhouette with a full skirt, thin waist and rounded shoulder line. It is the reason why the typical vintage dress ussually had a poodle skirt and accented waist. The casual dresses and the cocktail dresses were truly similar to each other, because they were often the same lenght and style. The evening dresses were ussualy worn with a cardigan-style jacket, which accented the waist line. (more…)
