Actually, there are several main trends of the 50′s women fashion. As a fact, it would be truly difficult to find a female wearing pants at that period. What is more, retro women’s style is almost unimaginable without all the gorgeous dresses and skirts. The main aim of the clothing was to create a women’s silhouette with a full skirt, thin waist and rounded shoulder line. It is the reason why the typical vintage dress ussually had a poodle skirt and accented waist. The casual dresses and the cocktail dresses were truly similar to each other, because they were often the same lenght and style.
