As a fact, plenty of women started wearing more convienient clothes, which expressed their freedom and confidence. The decade is amost unimaginable without it’s famous cloche hats and straight-lined dresses. Actually, such clothes were not really feminine and created a boyish figure. As a matter of fact, the masculine look was truly popular in 1920′s and plenty of women enjoyed wearing clothes with flattened breasts. It is also important to mention that the famous bob cut became popular at that period as the majority of females prefered wearing short hairstyles.

He originally had an architect’s education but became known as l’enfant terrible of the French fashion world in the 1960s. Rabanne started his career in fashion by creating jewelry for Givenchy, Dior, and Balenciaga. He started his own fashion house in 1966. He used such unconventional materials as metal, paper and plastic for his outlandish and flamboyant designs.
